GO arby is a very fun creation of mine, based around GO draw, as well as focused on ending the game with massive plays including skirmishers, arbalestiers and god hand... oh, and royal vanguard is possibly the best pre-god hand play in existance. this deck can reliably get 1 or more arbalestiers to go off every turn.

A coronated arbalestier... now THAT would be a 'wonderful deck' O_O countdown set to 1, with 11 piercing damage, seriously? yes please :D
Glitheron just destroyed me earlier today with a deck very similar if not the same.
BTW, You know what would be fun with the set 7? A coronated Arbalestier.
As I just posted in my deck, only is a different gameplay for the very same deck. I just tuned it up to match my style. I like to rely on my Arbalestiers rather than fill the field with threats. You got more muscle, I've got more deck manipulation.

11 upvotes? thanks everyone :D also cheers for all the nice comments, I'm glad you like this deck, and that it still works! (rat king was in because it made god hand so much more valuable, that's 5 attack each with a single vanguard out when you cast it, 2 rats can take out an idol, 2 rats!)
Nice deck, but while testing, I found that Rat King lacks synergy with Gallant Defender. I'm using Advantageous Outlook instead of Rat King, with Arbalestier its a kind of a cheap God Hand.
I love this deck, dana. I turned around a whole game with a god hand to quake ;)
I think the skirmishers are in mainly because you can often get them up to 7 attack with Vanguard + God Hand, and the Relentless is really valuable then.
Also this deck is pretty good. Plays much better than my GO Jarl failure of a deck.
No Partisan instead of Skirmisher to help with draws? Seeing how you don't run Focus or Infantryman or Reloras, the damage done, early to mid game, will be the same most of the time.
Finally got around to playing this. It's really awesome to be down to 3 idols at 2-4 health each and then turn it around. So much fun.
This deck is so fun to play. You get rekt early but if/when you come back, it feels amazing. Vanguard + God Hand is my new favourite combo. :)
